I have recently updated all my software from CS3 to CS4. The new Creative Suite consists of many more programs including Adobe Soundbooth, Premier Pro Captivate and Presenter which means much more for my clients with WebDesign.
I have also been learning Adobe Illustrator CS4, i am hoping to use this package to produce effective vector graphics such as the ones below.

All my Web Designs are created using Adobe Creative Suite 4 or CS4. I try to always use CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) on my templates and write them using Adobe Dreamweaver. I code them using the latest web standards language known as XHTML. There are lots of technical issues with WebDesign and you do not normally find them out until you start to produce a project. This is the part i enjoy, solving problems and making things work.

This is where i like to think that my designs stand out from your average Web Designer's work. I have over 5 years experience with Adobe Photoshop which is the industry standard for graphics. Your average and less experienced Designer would probably take your images and just throw them on your Web Site and leave them as is, or maybe use Microsoft Paint to soften the edges or something similiar. This is where i am different. I take your images and can do just about anything with them. To make an image fit within a Web Design and work for you is very important and if your seeking a little bit of the Wow Factor then this is something you will definately get from me. If you have a look at the Photoshop tutorial section you will get an idea of what can be achieved.

The above points are something i would always look to work on with your images. Do not get me wrong, it does take time but the effects can be well worth the wait. This is why I do not take on Project after Project and work beyond my means. I have no deadlines and give all my attention to the Project i am working on. Sure i have lost a few potential clients with this attitude, but remember, this is a hobby not a business.

Well only you know that. I could point you in various directions to show you how poor some designs are to make me look better and then be put down a few pegs by you viewing something spectacular. You do get what you pay for in this industry and i have seen prices vary from £150.00 to £5000 +.
Spending thousands on a Web Design does not always give you the WOW Factor! Investing in a sleek and clean design which can be easily updated might be something worth thinking about before you start. A website that stays the same month after month is never going to impress anyone either, just as a static one will not. So yesadd some special effects but make sure your budget can cater for them and remember Designers try and make more if you regularly want it updated, so negotiate a deal.
